Growing up in a three language household
I’ve always found a way to express myself. I had choices, after all.
The most important part of our household was probably the wealth of books, held in high esteem by my parents. I found that by reading, I could travel the world, learn about different cultures, ways of thinking, and I could occasionally come across a word in a foreign language. (Now that was great fun, calling my older brother by the name of an animal, in Spanish!)
In fact, reading inspired me to study several languages, even as an adult. At one point, I’d actually been able to communicate in seven languages!
Empowering Students to Communicate
Nothing is more important to me than my students feeling comfortable and relaxed during lessons. With humor and innovative techniques, I am able to improve language skills in an upbeat way!
